The proprietors of The Oaks School are responsible for ensuring that the school meets all statutory requirements and continues to provide a safe, high-quality education for all pupils. They oversee the school’s strategic direction, safeguarding compliance, and financial integrity,
ensuring that leadership and management operate in line with our vision, values, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

The proprietor is responsible for:

• Ensuring the school meets all Independent School Standards.
• Monitoring safeguarding, health and safety and welfare arrangements.
• Overseeing leadership and management performance.
• Approving policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Reviewing the curriculum, teaching quality and pupil progress.
• Ensuring that the school’s financial and staffing resources are used effectively.
• Engaging with parents, staff and the local community to promote the school’s ethos.
